Labor Day Beach

“To myself I am only a child playing on the beach, while vast oceans of truth lie undiscovered before me.” –Isaac Newton

While many will use Labor Day as a reason to flock to the beach, we rarely need a reason to visit the coastline. Part of our philosophy includes encouraging residents to reconnect with nature and healthy lifestyles, and, lucky for us, the beach offers many of these activities.

A short drive away, Galveston offers surfing, paddle boarding and sailing as ways to enjoy the beach from the water. For those beach goers who prefer to stay on solid ground, fishing or beach yoga are wonderful alternatives.  Building sandcastles, looking for shells, watching the sunset, and reading a book on the beach are more of our favorite sandy retreat events.

From the simple serenity of watching the waves crash and roll one after another to the smell of the salt air and the feel of the soft breeze, we are proud to offer our residents day trips to the beach. The beach ignites all of our senses and there are endless ways of exploring the natural beauty. This natural beauty is something we encourage our residents to rediscover in their own life and cherish.
